ROCK HILL, S.C. — A judge is expected to give justice to the men known as the Friendship Nine on Wednesday.
Police arrested the nine men more than 50 years ago when they sat at a whites-only lunch counter in Rock Hill.
The York County solicitor will ask a judge to throw out the men’s convictions and clear their criminal records.
They made history when they chose to spend 30 days in jail instead of paying a $100 fine.
